What is THAT on the wall?!

As I was walking toward the visitor center today I was vaguely aware that there was something on the wall above the door. I barely registered it - but then I had to go back and look, because what in the world would be that size, shape and color, just perching above the door?!

It was a frog. A Gray Treefrog. The perfect color for blending into lichen on rocks and trees. Not so much white-painted siding.

The coloring here is a little more accurate. My camera has a hard time comprehending the concept of a photograph that is all light-colored objects, and tries to darken things to compensate.

"You can't see me, right?... Right?"
